BEAUTY FOR ASHES

The Sovereign Lord has filled me with his Spirit. He has chosen me and sent me To bring good news to the poor, To heal the broken-hearted, To announce release to captives And freedom to those in prison. To give to those who mourn in Zion Joy and gladness instead of grief, A song of praise instead of sorrow. They will be like trees That the Lord himself has planted. They will all do what is right, And God will be praised for what he has done. Isaiah 61:1‭, ‬3 GNT

GOOD DAY: Mourn in Zion!, It is okay. The church is the Israel of God today. Galatians 6:16. Believers, the church are the true people of God. That you mourn or have challenges in the Zion of God is okay. Contrary to what we are taught, it is not because you are a sinner or hiding a sin. It is because the whole of mankind fell in Adam. The good news however is that there is comfort for those that mourn in Zion. In our part of the world, those that mourn hide from receiving the comfort available because people will stigmatize them. Never be ashamed to come out and receive God's comfort for you when you are hit by the challenges of life.
