SCALING THROUGH THE TRIAL OF FAITH

“Be assured that the testing of your faith [through experience] produces endurance [leading to spiritual maturity, and inner peace]. And let endurance have its perfect result and do a thorough work, so that you may be perfect and completely developed [in your faith], lacking in nothing.” ‭‭James‬ ‭1‬:‭3‬-‭4‬ ‭AMP‬‬

HAPPY DAY TO YOU: ‘It looked like something unusual was happening as no one came to patronise me and things were getting tougher and tougher everyday. I was convinced that God called me to this profession as nothing else caught my attention and energy. I see the possibility of big success everyday even in the dark season and I kept working. I know my breakthrough in life will come through this labour of mine.’ With time, he was patronised and his fabrication workshop is one of the most patronised in Lagos.

Faith is tried to produce patience and assurance that you truly believe. Patience is the twin sister of faith to prove commitment and to mature a person spiritually. You see the man I talked about above believed that his product is needed by people he has not seen physically. If he did not patiently wait fabricating some common household parts while no one was showing up, he would not be there to see his faith perform. He had perfected his fabrication technique by the time his services were fully needed when importation was banned. Tomorrow, we shall discuss how to survive the period of the trial of faith but for today think about what you would do should your faith be tried.

I pray that you will be so sure of your faith that when it seems to be failing, you will stay true in Jesus name.
