Be Linked To The Power Source

BE LINKED TO POWER SOURCE

So you must remain in life-union with me, for I remain in life-union with you. For as a branch severed from the vine will not bear fruit, so your life will be fruitless unless you live your life intimately joined to mine. John 15:4 TPT

HAPPY DAY TO YOU: As the sentence “without me you can do nothing" came to my mind as I prepared to write, I was excited because I was seeing a live illustration around me. The boy living with me unplugged my fridge for two days because of a power failure. Food and water from the fridge were still cold for about thirty six hours after which it lost its cooling power. Then I noticed that it was disconnected from the power source even after power was on. After an hour of reconnection with the power source, it became cool again.

Jesus is the tree (like the house) and believers are the branches (like the appliances). No branch can produce fruit unless it has a living connection to the tree just as the fridge needs to have a live connection with the power source of the house. Unless it has a living connection with the tree, it will run short of living sap and will wither away with time.

The Holy Spirit is the living sap of Jesus and as we stay connected to Him can we have the sap of the Holy Spirit as our source of life. Be in constant fellowship with the Holy Spirit as He runs in you. 

The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all. 2 Corinthians 13:13 GNT  Whoever loses this connection can pretend to have the fruit of the Holy Spirit for some time but he will soon lose the enabling power to produce the enduring fruit of the spirit. I leave you with this thought so that you will know the importance of inviting the Holy Spirit to help you at all times.

I pray that I will be in continuous fellowship with the Holy Spirit.
