REAL WORTH OF A MAN IS HIS INNER MAN

June 23. 2 Chronicles ch 3-5; Act 3

“The Spirit is the One who gives life. The flesh doesn’t help at all. The words that I have spoken to you are spirit and are life.” ‭‭John‬ ‭6‬:‭63‬ ‭HCSB‬‬.

HAPPY DAY TO YOU: Ladies and now men too spend so much money and energy on adorning themselves to look attractive and make a statement of their status. People get deceived while relating with them expecting that their inward man is as beautiful as the outward to give a good life as well only to be disappointed by the kind of life that such people give.

It is the inward man that matters. Whatever you want from people, don't expect it from the flesh or outward man of that person but from whom he is inside. A young accountant was not well dressed and his diction was bad for the high caliber of office that needed an honest accountant. When he went for the interview, the three of the four man panel rejected him because of his appearance but the head of service of the company chose him and said to the others ‘I see an honest and hardworking person.’ When he reported for duty, he sorted out all the fraud in the company, set up systems that would expose fraudulent practices instantly and he was so loving that the whole staff loved him.

The spirit in a man gives him life and that life is what he extends to others. The word is spirit. The word in a man determines the life in him. The words Jesus speaks are spirit and true life in the person who has and treasures them.

I pray that you will hear and treasure the words of Jesus in you to form your inward man in the name of Jesus.
