When Things Get Tough...
June 2. 2 Kings ch 14-15; John 11:22-43
WHEN THINGS BECOME TOUGH, REMEMBER THE CROSS
📖
“What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?” Romans 8:31-32 KJV

HAPPY DAY TO YOU: I look at a woman near me everyday and use her as a point of prayer when things are tough to raise my confidence level. She is a contract worker who stands for hours collating books. She makes the money and hardly spends anything out of it to keep her son in the higher institution. Then I remember Matthew 7:11 that says even we humans who are evil give good gifts to our children. How much more will God give good gifts to those who ask Him?
🤔
When things are tough and your prayers seem unheard and unanswered by God, remember the cross. Look deeply on the cross with Jesus hanging on it. That is the ultimate that a person could give to show his love for another. Gaze on the cross and let faith, confidence and peace well up in you that God shall surely perform.
🤔
You may ask ‘have you tried it before sister Bose?’ I say yes. God has always worked out the best for me as I gaze on the cross and meditate deeply. Whatever answers come from constantly meditating the cross in prayer ends up to be the best for me. Sometimes though it takes me time to go to the cross of Jesus Christ and I have pains and confusion. But the moment I remember the cross and gaze on Jesus nailed to it for me, I have peace and assurance that the best comes.
🛐
I pray that as you fix your gaze on Jesus, your soul will experience peace and rest until your manifestation comes in Jesus name.
