BEWARE OF OVERLOADING 1

 “No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.” ‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭10‬:‭13‬ ‭ESV‬‬

HAPPY DAY TO YOU: I was asking the Lord to take some stomach discomfort out of me. I had asked for some time then one morning, I had the Holy Spirit impress “you overload your system" in my heart. I looked at the possible ways I could be overloading my system. Because it was a stomach issue, I first checked how I load it. I noticed that I overeat most of the time. I eat when I am not hungry. I snack at will so I am always full. Then the Holy Spirit said to my spirit " don't give your body more than it is designed to digest”. I learnt a good lesson that day about eating. 

I checked how God fed the children of Israel in the wilderness for the forty years that they were not sick. He fed them twice. Early in the morning with manna a bread-like substance and in the evening with quail small birds a source of protein. He gave them energy food for breakfast and protein for body building in the evening. He gave them the command not to eat more than their fill. They were not to keep extra either. I chose to follow this pattern and avoid overloading in food matters.  I was relieved. 

This shows that God speaks to any issues if we ask Him. Overloading is not in food alone. He showed me other areas where I should shed some load in my life. We shall talk about other areas tomorrow. We can actually avoid sickness if we can avoid overloading in various areas of our lives. 

I leave you to look into your life for where you take upon yourself more than you can bear. That may be the source of your discomforts. 

I  pray today that the Lord will open your understanding to wherever you over labour any part of you more than necessary and you will let go of the burden in Jesus name.
