LIGHT HOLDS THE KEY

““The eye is the lamp of the body. So, if your eye is healthy, your whole body will be full of light, but if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light in you is darkness, how great is the darkness!” ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭6‬:‭22‬-‭23‬ ‭ESV‬‬

HAPPY DAY TO YOU: “That is how far I understand” the secretary replied to her boss when he asked her why she left all the confidential files on the table where anyone could see them. The secretary had worked in a two room establishment where there was nothing about confidentiality as it was just her boss and herself. Coming to a big office with all the intrigues and politics, she did not understand the secrecy needed in such environments. Secrecy is not necessarily covering misdeeds but leaking of information that could give out the cutting edge that a company has over others. 

If you lack spiritual implications of your actions, then you are blind indeed. One section where many are blind is in overcoming poverty. “One gives freely, yet grows all the richer; another withholds what he should give, and only suffers want.” ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭11‬:‭24‬ ‭ESV‬‬. This is because wrong teachings have gone out about prosperity or money matters such that people have given freely yet they have become poor. The secret to increase is to give freely yet there is what you should withhold so as not to suffer want so that like the flowing river that does not go dry, riches will come to you. We shall look into riches some day as the Holy Spirit teaches. 

Today, I leave you to consider the light in you whether it is darkness or true light. Your light guides you to its end whether life or death. Consider this verse. “There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way to death.” ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭14‬:‭12‬ ‭ESV‬‬
