THE FRIENDS FACTOR
📖
I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know what his master is doing. But I call you friends, because I have made known to you everything I heard from my Father. John 15:15 NCV
🤔
HAPPY DAY TO YOU: I want to share what friendship with Jesus did in my life. I had a private issue that it needed a miracle to resolve. I prayed a lot and did night vigils and in one of the vigils, I knew something shifted in the spirit but nothing happened in the natural realm. In actual fact, things were getting tougher and more desperate.
🤔
In my heart, I heard ‘I am your friend'. I quickly went to search for friends in the bible. The first one that touched me was Proverbs 17:17 TPT
[17] A dear friend will love you no matter what, and a family sticks together through all kinds of trouble.
I became very conscious of Jesus with me as my friend and a family. My discussion/pleading with Him changed from that of Master to friend and brother. My mind then went to John 15:15 where He called me friend and not servant. I was thrilled but I still wanted my prayer addressed. My mind was directed to Luke 11:5-9 a parable of a man who went to ask for bread at midnight from his friend.
🤔
I saw that I was a midnight friend of Jesus and I kept pleading with him as friend to friend like the person in that parable. I sang hymns and asked him for my desire all night and continued in the morning until I heard good news from a friend. We shall continue tomorrow.
🛐
Dear Jesus my friend and my brother, thank you for choosing me to be your friend and brother. Help me to see you as such and live in the consciousness of it in the name of Jesus.
