How You See Determines Your Confidence

May 24.   1 Kings ch 17-18; John 7:21-42

HOW YOU SEE DETERMINES YOUR CONFIDENCE LEVEL

“The servant of the man of God got up early and went out, and behold, there was an army with horses and chariots encircling the city. Elisha’s servant said to him, “Oh no, my master! What are we to do?” Elisha answered, “Do not be afraid, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.” Then Elisha prayed and said, “Lord, please, open his eyes that he may see.” And the Lord opened the servants eyes and he saw; and behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire surrounding Elisha.” ‭‭2 Kings‬ ‭6‬:‭15‬-‭17‬ ‭AMP‬‬

HAPPY DAY TO YOU: There are two realms from which a person can see. Whether you have faith or fear is determined by the realm from which you see. Elisha and his servant demonstrated this principle. When you are faced with any situation, what you see determines how you react.

Here is the principle that guides vision. “Blessed and worthy of praise be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms in Christ,” ‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭1‬:‭3‬ ‭AMP‬‬  In Christ, we have been blessed with every spiritual blessing in heavenly realm. In the case of Elisha and his servant, Elisha saw the hosts of God surrounding them   Psalm 91:11 and was confident while his servant saw horses and chariots encircling the city and he lost his courage. What do you see in your situation?

Are you experiencing lack now? Do you see the bills piling up in the physical and you are depressed and downcast or do you see the abundance that surrounds you in the spiritual realm in Christ and you have courage and faith that supply comes at the right time?

Are you sick in any form and you only see the prognosis of the disease according to doctors’ scientific reports or do you see health and healing in the stripes and  blood of Jesus according to the word of God?

Unless your eyes are open to see the spirit realm through the word and promises of God, and choose to live by them, you will always live in fear. Lack of the knowledge of God and His word leave us fearful and helpless before the circumstances in the physical realm. I leave you today to decide whether you will make yourself familiar with God through reading His whole word or be familiar with all the natural principles controlling your situations in life.

I pray that God will open your eyes to see wondrous things in His word as you read the bible  in Jesus name.
