THE MASTER KEY.

“For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” ‭‭Romans‬ ‭10‬:‭12‬-‭13‬ ‭KJV‬‬

HAPPY DAY TO YOU: I was listening to the hymn ‘Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus at the funeral service held for those killed by bandits in a church in Jos. I was moved to tears seeing how forcefully and determined the worshippers were as they sang. Next after the video was a pastor asking his flock to consult some herbalists for protection charms they should be wearing to church in case bandits attack them. He said those they killed in church in Kaduna called Jesus and they were killed as Jesus didn't do anything. I was touched enough to ask God for answers.

What does God say to people including strong believers who call on the name of Jesus and nothing happens in the natural realm in spite of the verse we are considering today. This insight was given to me. 

The reason that Jesus came is to show us that there is life after death. John 3:16. Death is not the end of our existence. He came to show us the way to eternal life with God which is real salvation of the soul. He lived, died and resurrected on the third day so that those who believe in Him may have eternal life with God.

He promised to give us peace no matter what the enemy throws our way.

He came and went back to the Father that the Holy Spirit may dwell in all those who believe in Him. The Holy Spirit teaches us all truths.

He told the disciples and all who would believe in His name that they will have tribulations in the world but they will have peace in Him so they should be of good cheer for He has overcome the world. He did not guarantee a challenge free life but a life of peace and joy here that is beyond human understanding.

Think about this today and see the peace and joy of Christ that make it possible for a person to say it is so sweet to trust in Jesus even in troubled waters.

I pray that we each have a deep and personal knowledge of Christ that makes us trust in Him even in times of sorrow in Jesus name.
