SECRET TO KNOWLEDGE

He may have a great army, but they are merely men. We have the Lord our God to help us and to fight our battles for us!” Hezekiah’s words greatly encouraged the people. 2 Chronicles 32:8 NLT

HAPPY DAY TO YOU: The greatest weapon that the enemy uses to bring down the children of God is lies (deception). When his lies are well crafted enough, they breed fear and fear paralyses his victim then he is defeated and enslaved and imprisoned. There is provision for anyone in Christ to overcome his deceptions.

The way to victory over the enemy is knowledge of the truth. Jesus said "And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” ‭John 8:32 NLT‬  The weapon to counter lies is truth. Hezekiah knew that God is with the children of Israel and those with the king of Assyria were mere men. Truth neither changes nor dies. It is put clearly prophesied in Daniel thus; And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.  ‭Daniel 11:32 KJV‬

The enemy corrupts with flattery and lies. Whoever will overcome him must know His God so he can firmly resist the enemy and do exploits in God.

To overcome the enemy, knowledge of God is not optional. You have to have the mental knowledge but far more than that, you must have experiential knowledge of Him. You must do the knowledge of God that you have by living in obedience to Him in that knowledge. Because many do not experience God with their head knowledge of Him,  they are not able to stand the enemy. They worry and are driven about and unstable. For example, a common head knowledge we all have is ‘in all things, give thanks ’ but how often do we do this? We will rather fear or complain and grumble. With that, we cannot overcome the trial and experience God. As I am now, there is nothing that can take thanking God from my mouth and heart. Even when I was hurt and ‘disappointed’ by God, I still thanked Him.

I pray today that you will be helped to do that which you know in your head about God under all circumstances in Jesus name.
