For the lovers of God may suffer adversity and stumble seven times, but they will continue to rise over and over again. But the unrighteous are brought down by just one calamity and will never be able to rise again. Proverbs 24:16 TPT

HAPPY DAY TO YOU: The text for meditation today reminds me of three men who were in the visual art profession years back. The economy of the country took a downturn and art wasn't selling. Two of them dumped the profession and turned to other businesses but one of them persisted. People would visit his studio, like his works but only one would actually buy right on time to  keep him going. Two years passed and the economy was still the same but he never stopped painting and displaying and praying.

One day, a man who had been passing through his shop stopped, looked round and bought three paintings that gave him a breakthrough. The man’s friends bought more from him as they saw the ones in their friend’s house. That was how he started selling until the economy became better and art boomed again. The other two friends wanted to come back but they could not and that was the end of their career in art.

The man fell many times but failed to quit or give up. He saw a career in art that could lift him and he pursued it. Like a child learning to walk that falls many times but won't stop until he becomes steady so also are we to keep on pursuing our purpose till we succeed. What do you believe you should be doing that looks unprofitable now for whatever reason? Get up and do it again till you get the hang of it, don't quit.

I pray that the spirit to persevere in your calling and mission till you succeed rests upon you now in the name of Jesus.
