REJOICE ALWAYS

Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!  Philippians 4:4 NIV

HAPPY DAY TO YOU: For a long time, I did not know how to rejoice in the Lord especially when things happening to and around me made joy difficult if not impossible. I did meet people who seemed to be rejoicing on the outside in public but when you get close to them, you'll find that they are sad and troubled. This led me to seek how to rejoice always in the Lord.

I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace. In the world you have tribulation and distress and suffering, but be courageous [be confident, be undaunted, be filled with joy]; I have overcome the world.” [My conquest is accomplished, My victory abiding.] ‭John 16:33 AMP‬. I connected with the verse above and saw that Jesus did tell His disciples that they would have tribulations in the world but they should rejoice or be of good cheer because He has overcome the world. When you are in Christ, the basis of your constant joy and peace is in the victory that Christ won on the cross. Jesus' victory on the cross is the answer, my joy and my hope in any situation. To the sick, the blood of the stripes of Jesus is my joy for in it I find healing. In Isaiah 53:3-6, He was wounded and despised bearing all the shame that we deserve so that while I remain in Him, I live in victory over sin and all the fruit of it.

Write all the things keeping you from being joyful in your journal and under all of them, write that Jesus won your victory over them on the cross. Then write because of this victory, I rejoice in Christ in spite of the situations (list them out) I see. As you keep saying that you rejoice in Christ, joy will replace gloom and sorrow as your word enters your heart and works out in your life. You will also discover that your lifestyle will keep aligning with the lifestyle of someone in Christ. I leave you to think about this and put it to practice till you see results.
