WHAT IS IT FOR SIR?

But he who had received one went and dug in the ground, and hid his lord’s money. After a long time the lord of those servants came and settled accounts with them.

And I was afraid, and went and hid your talent in the ground. Look, there you have what is yours.’ Therefore take the talent from him, and give it to him who has ten talents. Matthew 25:18-19, 25, 28 NKJV

HAPPY DAY TO YOU: There is the common question of why do the rich get richer and the poor get poorer? Also, why do the physically strong get stronger and the weak get weaker? I look and ask a bit further; why do some rich become poor and poor become rich? The secret is in this story of the men with talents.

We are all given talents according to our abilities by our Creator. No matter the state of the world or age or any condition whatsoever, our talents are not withdrawn. What we do not understand however is that God gives us the talent for a purpose. It is not yours. Your talent belongs to Him for you to use to fulfil His purpose.

To the poor man who refuses to use his talent which may be hospitality, service or non-monetary talent, he will lose such talent with all the benefits that go with it. Likewise a rich man who doesn't ask the Master how he is to use his talent will invest wrongly and become poor eventually.

I had a personal experience with the use of my limbs. I was talented with strong limbs that I used to trek miles to preach and share tracts. I became lazy after some time and I found that my legs were feeling heavy without walking or exercising them. One day, the Spirit ministered to walk to bless people as you used to do to my spirit. Since I resumed, my legs have become strong again. Whatever the Lord has gifted you with, don't think it is small or inconsequential but use it within your bubble and watch it bless others.

I pray that you will use every talent that you have and you will profit with them to the glory of God.
