HIS PLANS

📖
“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you.” Jeremiah 29:11-12 BSB

HAPPY DAY TO YOU: When we were growing up, we used to avoid the health visitor who came to see our grandparents fortnightly. We were very scared of him and thought he enjoyed pricking us with his needle and watching us cry. It wasn't until we started moving close to him that we realized that he didn't want to hurt us but to keep us from diseases.

🤔

I look at God and Christ from this perspective now. The world looks at Him as a taskmaster who is only interested in Himself and loves to see us suffer. We see His precepts as a way of making us weak. We break the boundaries He gives us so we can have PEACE and follow our perception of the way of peace, only to have wars and threats of wars. We have replaced His way of tilling the ground for continual bumper harvests with our own artificial way. Now, we avoid the One who created us and all the things on earth to determine what the population of the world would be. We leave the truth to follow falsehood, thinking that is the way of self-preservation. O MAN, WHEN WILL YOU STOP FOLLOWING YOUR WAYS AND TURN TO GOD?

🤔

Today is another day the call is going out that God's thoughts and plans for mankind are thoughts of good and not evil, to give us that hope of pleasure that we want.

We only need to yield to Him and follow His way, and we shall know how much He loves the man that He made in His image.

🤔

What have we gained from all the weapons of war that man has made and is struggling to acquire? The good that we invent to give us peace has turned into our object of fear. O that man would look and see that vain is their self-help. I leave us with these thoughts and pray that God will open the eyes of every reader to see the vanity in the ways of mankind and return to God. I also pray that He will help us to send the message to friends and contacts that it is time to return to God.

🛐

May the Lord give you understanding to appropriate the thoughts of God to your life and see how much peace you will enjoy, in the name of Jesus.
