October 8. Isaiah ch 19-22; Ephesians 6

BE PREPARED.

📖

“Just as it was in the days of Noah, so also will it be in the days of the Son of Man: People were eating and drinking, marrying and being given in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark. Then the flood came and destroyed them all. It was the same in the days of Lot: People were eating and drinking, buying and selling, planting and building. But on the day Lot left Sodom, fire and sulfur rained down from heaven and destroyed them all. It will be just like that on the day the Son of Man is revealed. On that day, let no one on the housetop come down to retrieve his possessions. Likewise, let no one in the field return for anything he has left behind. Remember Lot’s wife! Whoever tries to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life will preserve it. I tell you, on that night two people will be in one bed: one will be taken and the other left. Two women will be grinding grain together: one will be taken and the other left.” Luke 17:26-35 BSB

HAPPY DAY TO YOU:

Although a specific time cannot be put to it, Jesus is coming back, and the end of the world is near. I am not a news or rumour person by nature, but recently, while sending my daily post on Facebook, posts about the wars around the world, plagues, and hardships pop up to me, as well as God’s invitation to people who care to listen.

Fears of aliens and humanoid robots living with humans and how mankind could be wiped out by them within minutes. Famines and rumours of entire states lacking water by a certain time. All sorts of fearful things that are happening and could happen make one know that the end of the world is near.

What should you do to prepare? That is the reason for the long passage of today, so you will hear directly from Jesus Himself. Read and understand it, and take something out by yourself. Tomorrow, we shall look at another similar story.

🛐

Dear Lord, help me to place priority on things of eternal value in preparation for Your return, in the name of Jesus.
