HAPPY DAY TO YOU: Yesterday, we saw how those who were evil continually yet covered and prospering for a while are being exposed and ridiculed as facts of their covered dealings are being exposed now. While enjoying the pleasure of evil, they never knew a season like this would come when they will be exposed and judged.

Likewise, those who are good continually yet unnoticed and unrewarded think their reward will never come but it sure comes. It reminds me of this very good man who worked with me. He was overqualified for the job he was doing for me and underpaid for his qualification. He performed his duty beyond what I expected or what I had ever experienced with past holders of that position. He never grumbled nor complained and he was warm to customers. This went on for about four years and one day, the unseen judge came.

I was at a meeting and the MD  of a company asked if anyone knew a very honest accountant. I said ‘yes’. He asked how trustworthy and I ‘said hundred percent’.  He asked about his experience and I said ‘nothing elaborate except my humble company but even then, not the accounting fascinated me but his honesty and diligence. He asked about his salary and I said ‘peanuts’. He said that I should call him if he could come straight away. This I did, he was interviewed and taken to his office to solve a serious accounting problem they had. He sat with him for three days and unravelled the fraud that involved many top staff. That was how he got employed. He has been there since and progressing more and faster than he could imagine just because he never gave up being good continually. Whatever good that you know how to do, continue no matter what. Your reward comes soon and will not delay.

I pray that God will grant each of us the grace to continue in all goodness that we know how to do within our power in Jesus name.
