DRAW NEAR TO HIM

“Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.” ‭‭James‬ ‭4‬:‭8‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

HAPPY DAY TO YOU: I don't know if you have ever felt like this before; you want to know that God actually exists, want to know how He speaks and guides people, want to know if those who claim to speak for Him actually heard Him and so on. This feeling became more intense when some of my prayers were answered contrary to what I asked for like when my children were called home in spite of prayers. It was at that time that God revealed Himself to me as real with our verse for meditation today. Let's go through the journey together.

It impressed in my consciousness that I cannot relate with God with my physical senses because God is not flesh and blood He is spirit. For this reason, I must be conscious of and understand my soul and spirit. Begin to observe that someone speaks to you inside of you. When we were young and we did some wrong, the elders would ask us what spoke to our inward person and we would answer that it was the devil. It is through that inward person that we draw near to God. On wherever or whoever you fix your inward man on, he speaks to you. So it is with this inward man that you draw near to God and He draws near to you. The more you stay your inward man on God, the closer and more He draws to you. Once He is close to you, your thoughts are directed to Him and He answers your thoughts. Soon, you will understand the feel of His thoughts. You will observe how His thoughts work out in life. For me, I know God exists and even when things are tough and rough, as my thoughts settle on Him, He gives me peace and joy that no one can explain.

The closer your thoughts stay on Him, the more you desire to read His word thus renewing your mind to become like His. By this, you will know for sure that God exists. 

I pray that God will open your understanding to know how to fulfill your hunger to know Him in Jesus name.
