WHERE DO YOU LIVE?

“If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.” ‭‭John‬ ‭15‬:‭7‬ ‭NASB1995‬‬

HAPPY DAY TO YOU:  A friend of mine is always changing as conditions change even when it does not directly affect her. He would wonder about what will happen in years to come if her life is like this at the moment. Then one day, I asked her where she lives and she said ‘you know my address now.’ I told her that she probably does not know her address herself. Where is your own address? Write it in your journal. Let us now go and familiarize ourselves with where we live that we may not be aware of.

Let us look first at who we are. 

“Come on and have some more,” he says, but he doesn't mean it. What he thinks is what he really is. Proverbs 23:7 GNT  You are what you think in your heart. Other words for heart include soul, mind, or the true essence of man. Your soul is your real self. It is where all spiritual virtues stay. Peace, love, joy, hatred, greed, sadness and all other feelings and emotions stay. Your soul is you. Where it lives is your real home or home address.

Where does your soul stay? If you are not aware of where your soul or thought or mind stays up until now, then pay attention to your innerman today. What are your inward concerns that occupy your inner space? That will give you your home address. There was a time when my mind was always on cares and worries  about my children. Although I prayed a lot, the prayers seemed unanswered and I had no peace or rest of mind. Some things that I worried over happened in spite of seeing our scripture for consideration today. I now have a better understanding and experience. I leave you to think about today's teaching and where your mind stays and tomorrow we shall talk about how to dwell in Christ.

I pray that the Lord will open your inner eyes to see where your soul dwells in Jesus name.
