RESOLVING THE POSITIVES AND NEGATIVES OF LIFE

Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 NIV

[1] There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens: [2] a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot, [3] a time to kill and a time to heal, a time to tear down and a time to build, [4] a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance, [5] a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them, a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing, [6] a time to search and a time to give up, a time to keep and a time to throw away, [7] a time to tear and a time to mend, a time to be silent and a time to speak, [8] a time to love and a time to hate, a time for war and a time for peace.

HAPPY DAY TO YOU: If we had our way, we would always want it to be daylight without night time at all but God didn't make it that way. God said ““While the earth remains, Seedtime and harvest, Cold and heat, Winter and summer, And day and night Shall not cease.””‭‭Genesis‬ ‭8‬:‭22‬ ‭AMP‬‬ It is this pronouncement of God that was expounded by king Solomon in His wise sayings we are looking at today. If Christian’s can understand that life is in times and seasons, our worries will reduce and our approach to life issues will be different.

Each season of life calls for a different attitude. King Solomon the wise said that God makes everything beautiful in its time. Ecclesiastes 3:11. There is some beauty in the bad seasons. Apostle Paul says all things work together for good for those who love God. 

At seasons of insecurity and uncertainties like we are in now, I decided to get closer to God who alone can protect and provide for us. I allow Him to be the shepherd of my soul. I find my peace in knowing and trusting God. Psalm 31:14-15 declares that our times are in God’s hands. So dear friends, the good times and bad times are in God’s hands. Let us learn to know and trust Him at all times for peace of mind.
