ANXIETY PREVENTION 3

Those who trust the Lord are like Mount Zion, which sits unmoved forever. As the mountains surround Jerusalem, the Lord surrounds his people now and forever. Psalms 125:1-2 NCV

HAPPY DAY TO YOU: If you found observing your inner mind difficult as taught yesterday, it is okay. Everybody does at first. Your thoughts went in different directions that caught your attention however, you have to continue observing it and focusing it on Jesus, don't give up. What I did when I started was to keep saying Jesus in my thoughts anytime I wasn't engaged in any duty. I held on to ‘at the name of Jesus, every knee shall bow’. With time, every other thought bowed to the name of Jesus and my mind was free of ungodly and negative thoughts flowing freely through my mind.

With a clear mind thinking only about Jesus, I started asking questions to know Him and seek answers to issues that bothered me. I discovered that answers came to my mind and I started understanding scriptures more. With time, I started loving God and began to know God the Father, Jesus the Son and the Holy Spirit. Scriptures began to have meaning to me and I experienced God's help with everything I did. When I lost my children and I quarreled with Him as I would with a person I had grown to love and trust, He comforted me and made me see deeper into His ways better than before.

Now as I trust Him, my mind is solid like mount Zion that can not be moved because God whom I trust and hold on to is not moved. When I am afraid, I say to Jesus in my mind and sometimes with my mouth that Jesus I hold on to your feet. Please help me and don't let me be ashamed. As I go to Him and He performs, I trust Him more and I am above anxiety no matter what. I believe that He will do what is best for me.

Dear Father, as I strive to know You more, reveal Yourself to me that I may draw others closer to You as well in the name of Jesus.
