But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you. John 14:26 NASB1995

HAPPY DAY TO YOU: Today, we are going to look at the Holy Spirit as a Teacher. To fully appreciate the work of the Holy Spirit as teacher, let us look at the dictionary meaning of the word teacher.  “A teacher is a person who helps others learn new things, gain skills, or understand ideas. Most often, a teacher works as an instructor in a school or college, but the word can also describe anyone or anything that guides you or teaches a life lesson.” World principles in life are taught by parents, society, culture and school teachers etc. You then wonder why we need another teacher in the person of the Holy Spirit.

Jesus came to bring the kingdom of God to man. This is a spiritual kingdom that dictates what happens on earth and we enter into it through re-birth.

Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” John 3:3 NKJV

Once born again into the kingdom of God, you need a teacher to teach you how to live the kingdom life here on earth. This is where the teaching ministry of the Holy Spirit is needed. He teaches and directs the way we move and live and have our being in Christ. Prophet Isaiah put it this way:

…Yet your teachers will not be moved into a corner anymore, But your eyes shall see your teachers. Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, “This is the way, walk in it,” Whenever you turn to the right hand Or whenever you turn to the left. Isaiah 30:20b-21 NKJV. The Holy Spirit teaches us how to move in this world of uncertainties. Will you yield and listen to Him? Will you commit your ways to Him and lean not on your own understanding?

I thank You Father for Your Son and Your Spirit that You give us. May we yield to their counsel in all things in the name of Jesus.
