Therefore God exalted Him to the highest place and gave Him the name above all names, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Philippians 2:9-11 BSB

HAPPY DAY TO YOU: Recently, I had both sweet and sour experiences that made my mind running haywire. The sweet one was very personal while the sour one involved a desperate need that could have grave consequences if it failed. Both experiences kept the sleep off my eyes and my soul running through mixed emotions. I was restless in my mind but my body was calm to those around me for days. Until one day I heard ‘be still and know that I Am God' in my spirit.

I had to figure out how to still my mind then I remembered ‘at the name of Jesus, every knee shall bow.’ I started chanting Jesus, Jesus, Jesus… until I dozed off. It was a kind of sleep that had eluded me for days. I woke up the following morning with the name of Jesus still in my mouth. The name of Jesus calmed my soul. He later told me that the sweet experience that was disturbing my heart would not come to pass. The sour one that I was worried over was sorted. Both happened as He told me and I was happy.

Whenever your mind is troubled or restless, try chanting the name of Jesus and see that truly He gives rest to whoever comes to Him.

I pray that as you move close to Jesus with His name on your lips, your soul will cling to Him and you will experience the rest that He gives to a weary soul in the name of Jesus.
