CULTIVATE THE WINNING MINDSET

“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable — if anything is excellent or praiseworthy — think on these things. ”

HAPPY DAY TO YOU: Spiritual warfare is not in any way physical. It happens inside you where you will deny Jesus and call God a liar or even denounce Him. Because Ephesians 6:11-18 describes the armour of God in physical terms, it is difficult to make it spiritual in our imagination. I had issues with the armour stuff for a long time until I started having further understanding. If you can manage your thinking, then you are a winner.

Have you noticed that you are the first victim of your bad thoughts? You think something you start might not work and you fear and worry. It is not your fault it is what we inherited from Adam and Eve. We tend to imagine the wrong side of life more easily. This is why Apostle Paul counselled on what our thinking line should follow.

I didn't appreciate this thought pattern until the day the Holy Spirit asked me why I always consider that things will go wrong even after praying about it. He reminded me that God’s thoughts towards me are always thoughts of good and not of evil. From that day, I have been forcing my thoughts about myself and others to rise from the dust to praiseworthy results. Whenever you think about anything, think about the goodness and joy of your desired outcome and not how you will manage if it does not work. Leave plan B considering failure and what you will do or the shame you will face.

Dear Lord, I ask that you give me a heart that thinks after Your thoughts in the name of Jesus.
