HELPLESS WITHOUT HIM

September 7. Psalm ch 119:144-123:4; 1 Corinthians 13

I am the vine and you are the branches. The one who remains in Me, and I in him, will bear much fruit. For apart from Me you can do nothing. John 15:5 BSB

HAPPY DAY TO YOU: For without Jesus we can do nothing. I didn't appreciate the depth of this statement until I saw a woman who couldn't ease her bowels for five days and she was in pain. When she called me, I was moved to pray Psalm 24:7 that all ‘gates’ that block the passage should lift their heads up. Within minutes of saying the prayer, her bowel opened and she was relieved. It was then I realized the depth of our meditation today

Without Christ, we can do nothing from the smallest like eating or swallowing saliva to the greatest like the greatest inventions. Jesus is life and unless a person remains attached to life, he can do nothing. Mankind has been deceived to believe that they can do all things without God and God has permitted this and left humanity to do anything their minds and hands wish to do without acknowledging Him with the result that we are destroying the earth and ourselves. When man finds or discovers one thing without reverence to God, they find that they create other problems.

Have you been struggling with your life on your own without acknowledging Christ? Today is the day to invite Him into your life and affairs. Nothing is too small or big, invite Him to help you with everything. Thank Him for every little or big thing achieved and you will know the joy of achievement in Christ.

Dear Father and Lord, for too long, I have lived independent of You. I repent and ask You to be my guide and leader in all that I do henceforth in the name of Jesus.
