For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit. Romans 14:17 BSB

HAPPY DAY TO YOU: Earthly kingdoms have land boundaries. Even in the air and sea, there are boundaries for each kingdom or country. It is the same with the kingdom of God except that it is neither a physical kingdom nor does it have physical boundaries yet it has boundaries that we can identify within us. Jesus pointed to the kingdom of God saying

And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you. Luke 17:20-21 KJV

The kingdom of God is righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. These are inward boundaries. Any decision or action that disturbs your peace and joy in the Holy Spirit no matter how much bread and drink it brings violates the boundary of the kingdom of God within you.

Just as a visa is required to cross boundaries of kingdoms on earth, it is needed for the kingdom of God too. The visa for the kingdom of God is belief in the life, death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ to take away your sins and reconcile you with God. You renounce your old self with its sin nature and ask Jesus to come into your heart. Once you do that, you become a child of God by faith and you keep fellowship with Him and other believers.

I pray that once you are in the kingdom of God, you will know and be guided by His peace and joy no matter what.
