“Therefore speak to them and tell them that this is what the Lord GOD says: ‘When any Israelite sets up idols in his heart and puts a wicked stumbling block before his face, and then comes to the prophet, I the Lord will answer him according to his great idolatry, ”

HAPPY DAY TO YOU: Whatever you embed  in your mind will be your life instructor. Whatever is embedded in your mind apart from God is an idol. One of the most common idols in recent times are the pastors or ministers of God whose words  we place above the word of God. Material possessions too is an idol when it sits where God should be in the hearts of people. A husband or wife could become an idol. Power, education, even self could be an idol. In general, anything that you place above God is your idol, even your church doctrine. Mark 7:8-9

How is this relevant to preparing for the end time and second coming of Christ? If there is an idol in your heart, then you will hear the idol instead of hearing instructions from the Lord as to surviving or even escaping the end time trials.

The first stage of preparation is to locate any idol in your heart and do away with it with the help of the Holy Spirit. The next is to EMBED  God in your heart. When I tried and I could not some time back, I used a hack to replace the is embedded in my mind. It is ‘At the name of Jesus every knee shall bow’ and ‘draw near to God and he will draw near to you’. I began to call the name of Jesus. I used a rosary bead to maintain my attention. I was repeating the name of Jesus on the beads round and round when I was not engaged. Jesus drove all the idols out with time and Jesus alone was embedded in my mind. Try it or find your own way to embed Jesus in your heart for at His name, all knees shall bow. Every demon or ‘good’ thing playing Lord in your heart will be bowing one by one and you will notice a transformed you with time.

My God and Father, search me and see if there is any idol in my heart. Cleanse me Lord and keep me in the way everlasting in the name of Jesus.
