HOW TO ESTABLISH PEACE

📖

“I shall also grant peace in the land, so that you may lie down with no one making you tremble. I shall also eliminate harmful beasts from the land, and no sword will pass through your land.” Lev. 26:6.

🤔

HAPPY DAY TO YOU:

Psalm 91 is the psalm of God's protection over man, or a psalm of divine insurance. The key to unlocking that psalm is in Leviticus 26:3.

🤔

Now, all over the world, man is looking for peace. Fears of all sorts grip the whole world. Failed negotiations and lack of trust have led to the proliferation of devices to force others to dance to our tune, yet nothing has worked. Crime rates are very high and on the increase. Wild beasts that are microscopic (Covid, Ebola, etc.) and probably man-made abound, and their increase causes concern in the world. Even fellow human beings have become monsters, harming others, and peace has disappeared. It is time to acknowledge our Creator and go back to Him as the Giver of peace.

🤔

The way to move God's hand to rid the land of this harmful trend and restore peace is obedience to God. He is the one who grants peace in the land. The beginning of obedience is the knowledge of what to obey. We cannot remove the knowledge of the Prince of Peace from our affairs and expect to have peace. Thank God for nations that are openly acknowledging Christ in recent days and restoring the teaching of the Bible in their schools. Make Bible reading and study a personal practice. You can use any of the Bible reading apps that take you through the Bible in one year. Eva Yours is one of such apps.

🤔

As you persevere in the exercise of reading your Bible, you are laying the foundation of your obedience to God and, thus, peace in the land. You should also go a step further: make one or two more people go through the exercise. As we keep reading, be encouraged that your effort will be rewarded with peace in the land in a way you cannot explain. God knows how He turns knowledge of His word into peace in the hearts of people, leading to peace on earth.

🛐

Dear Lord, man has the tendency to want to know everything because You empowered us for that at creation. Help us to know that some things remain secrets to You alone and to find peace in looking up to You, in the name of Jesus.
